Wednesdays - 6:00 p.m.- September 17 - Children of the Heaven – 1998 nomination, for Best Foreign Language Film (Iranian). This is a simple story of two children and their efforts to cover up the loss of a pair of shoes from their impoverished parents.
- September 24 - Persepolis – An animated award-winning film, based on an autobiographical graphic novel. The film follows Marjane’s childhood, in Tehran, Iran’s 1978 repressive society, to her adolescence in France, and to her return to Tehran as an adult. Oscar nominee for Best Animated Feature Film.
