SACRAMENTO DOCUMENTS
Sacramento Documents are publications issued by our local city, county, or regional agencies. Examples of materials include annual reports, budgets, codes, union agreements, environmental impact reports, various studies (salary surveys, water use, consolidation, air pollution, etc.)
The Central Library is the designated depository for Sacramento documents. Documents may be used in the library and may be photocopied. They have the call number prefix CiSAC (City of Sacramento) or CoSAC (County of Sacramento). The documents are located on the 3rd floor, or in closed stacks.
If you cannot locate a specific document or subject, please ask a Librarian at the Information Desk

Current documents for public review are shelved in DISPLAY, a gray bookcase on the 3rd floor near the Information Desk. Public review documents are typically environmental impact reports, master plans, proposed projects, or community plans. |

Use the online catalog to find most documents. You can search by title, keyword, subject, and issuing agency. The online catalog includes public review documents. |

Documents issued before 1989
|
|
For older documents issued before 1989, consult the card catalog on the 3rd floor to the west of the Information Desk. You may search the index by issuing agency, title, subject, or call number. Most of these documents can be retrieved from storage. |
